Every message goes straight to the instructor, not a call center. If you write in the evening you will usually hear back the next morning. If your class date is inside 48 hours, call instead of emailing so we can get you a seat in time.
Which county you are applying in, whether this is an initial or a renewal, and any dates that will not work for you. With those three details we can normally answer in one reply instead of five.
First-time applicants ask this constantly. You do not need to own a gun, hold a permit, or have fired one before. Bring a valid government-issued photo ID and we handle the rest.
The classroom sits on Van Nuys Blvd in the heart of the San Fernando Valley, about fifteen minutes from the 405 and the 101. Street parking is available and the building is easy to reach from Burbank, Glendale, Santa Clarita, and the west Valley.
Range sessions are scheduled separately from classroom time, and you will get the exact location and arrival window when your class is confirmed. Students regularly drive in from Orange, San Bernardino, Riverside, Kern, and Ventura counties, because California CCW training is recognized statewide as long as the course meets the state standard.
