For each handgun you want on the license: make, model, serial number, and caliber — and you must qualify with each one at training. Listing a firearm you don't yet own? Most counties require possession before it goes on the permit; you can usually add firearms later by amendment.
Depending on your issuing agency, expect some of: character references with contact information, spouse/cohabitant notification forms, employment verification (for work-based applications), and a psychological evaluation appointment. Check your county portal the week you file — forms change.
