PG-13 CCW Training Academy is a Van Nuys business — our classroom sits at 6323 Van Nuys Blvd, and we've trained San Fernando Valley gun owners here since 1992. For Valley residents this is the shortest possible path to a California CCW certificate: no cross-town drive, the most scheduling options of any area we serve, and instructors who know the local issuing process inside out.
Every course format runs here most frequently: the 16-hour initial course, the 8-hour renewal, and private instruction. Both days of the initial course can be booked back-to-back or split across two weekends — whatever fits Valley work schedules. And because this is our own facility, last-minute openings appear here first; call 747-CCW-2000 if you need a date this week.
Van Nuys is City of Los Angeles territory, so most local students file with the city's issuing agency, while nearby unincorporated-area residents go through LASD — details on both paths are on our LA County page. Either way, the training certificate you earn here satisfies the state requirement.
